WordCamp after–parties are something people remember as highlights of the event, because after a full day of great talks, learning stuff and talking to sponsors and eating tasty lunch — it’s a perfect time for informal networking. This year we are doing something a little bit differently. You won’t believe what. o.O
When we were deciding about the venue for WordCamp Zagreb, Museum of Contemporary Arts was our favorite. Not only because it’s a great venue place (and a museum) but also because we had the option of hosting the after–party there.
Only people with badges will be allowed to the after–party so remember to bring it with you. You’ll pick it up on Saturday morning (at the registration desk) from 8:00–9:00, before the conference starts (registration desk will stay open throughout the day). The schedule on Saturday ends at 18:00, so you’ll have just enough time to leave your stuff at home, or do some shopping in the nearby shopping centre across the street before the party.
The after–party in Museum of Contemporary Arts will officially start at 19:00 and it will last until midnight, 00:00. We will have finger food and drinks for everyone, free of charge (until it lasts!). The idea of the after party is to hang out, meet new people and continue mingling that you will (hopefully) start during the day. Don’t be late as both finger food and drinks will be in limited quantity. (according to our past experiences in Rijeka and Split we estimated that around 150 people will get to the afterparty)
After the official after–party will be over you can always continue hanging out with people at some other place – Zagreb won’t be sleeping on Saturday ;).
