Božica Brkan

Književnica, novinarka, blogerica, urednica i nakladnica. Tri desetljeća radila je kao profesionalna novinarka, kolumnistica i urednica u različitim medijima. Predavala je stilistiku u medijskoj komunikaciji na komunikologiji na Hrvatskim studijima (2009. – 2011.). Osnivačica je, urednica i autorica internetskih magazina www.oblizeki.com , www.ziviselo.com i www.bozicabrkan.com. Dobitnica je nagrade novinske kuće Vjesnik Zvonimir Kristl za reportažu (1980.) te godišnje nagrade Hrvatskoga novinarskog društva Marija Jurić Zagorka za najbolje uređen podlistak-prilog za 2000. – Vrt Večernjeg lista. Članica je Društva hrvatskih književnika i Hrvatskoga novinarskog društva te suosnivačica Hrvatske udruge za odnose s javnošću.

Objavila je petnastak knjiga pjesama, kratkih priča i romana. Nagrađivana je, antologijska i prevođena spisateljica. Objavila je i pedesetak visokonakladnih i kuharica. Jedna od prvih i vodećih gastropisaca u nas, uz drugo i scenaristica Vegetina TV serijala Male tajne velikih majstora kuhinje te autorica kultnih Oblizeka, knjige prema kojoj je sama nazvala blog, a drugi više tvrtki, peciva i slastica te gastroturističkih događaja.

Dario Markas

Dario je već pet godina glavni urednik internetskog portala Večernjeg lista. 14 godina plovi novinarskim vodama, a od toga 10 godina radi na top hrvatskim news portalima. Nakon što se okušao u novinama i na televiziji (Poslovni Dnevnik, HRT, Nova TV), 2007. je spletom okolnosti zakoračio u redakciju Index.hr-a gdje se potpuno zaljubio u internetsko novinarstvo i više nikada nije želio otići u neki drugi medij. Index je bio najbolje moguće vatreno krštenje što se tiče internetskog novinarstva te je tamo među ostalim pokrenuo i Video Index. Karijeru je nastavio na portalu Dnevnik.hr gdje je obavljao posao dnevnog urednika. Na Dnevniku se zadržao tri i pol godine da bi 2012. došao u Večernji list gdje postaje glavni urednik njegovog news portala koji u tom periodu ostvaruje niz uspjeha, između ostalog u navedenom periodu Vecernji.hr sa devetog dolazi na drugo mjesto hrvatskih internetskih portala po ljestvici Gemiusa.

Marko Hrnjak

Marko Hrnjak certificirani je Google Trainer i voditelj internetskog marketinga i web developementa u Algebri. Ujedno je i voditelj kompletnih projekata internetske marketinške komunikacije – od online oglašavanja, produkcije internetskih stranica pa do aplikacija za društvene mreže. Marko već više od 10 godina odgovorno stoji iza svih uspješnih nastupa Algebre na društvenim mrežama, internetskom oglašavanju te vođenju web projekata.

Konrad Leon Toldy

Konrad Leon Toldy ima 9 godina iskustva kao web dizajner te je završio studij multimedijskog računarstva na Visokom učilištu Algebra, a trenutno pohađa diplomski studij primijenjenog računarstva – programski smjer. Već dvije godine radi kao developer u odjelu marketinga Visokog učilišta Algebra. Konrad će voditi radionicu gdje će pokazati kako kreirati svoj prvi plugin na WordPress platformi.

Tomislav Čukelj

Danju web developer u Krikstudiju i student, noću čisti kod od bugova i čuva projekte sigurnima! Pravi se da zna nešto o dizajnu i JavaScriptu, no zapravo piše WordPress i Laravel ljubavne priče. Minimalist i modernist, skoro pa #hipster! Zagovornik promjena i novih izazova, puno sluša, malo govori. U rječniku uz “projekt” često se nalazi njegova slika.

Tomislav Negulić

Deveta godina da je dio CARNeta i to odjela za Podršku obrazovanju kao Stručnjak za edukacijske tehnologije. Uz sve sustave za upravljanje učenje na daljinu ili upravljanje učenjem koristeći mobilne tehnologije u “face to face edukaciji” WordPress mu je cijeli vrijeme paralelno u životu. Svo znanje koje ima vrlo rado prenosi dalje tako da vrlo često ga se može sresti ili po konferencijama ili po raznim radionicama po školama u Hrvatskoj. Teški je ljubitelj određene marke automobila i na ponekad nerazumljivivi način ostalima pokazuje sklonost istoj. Slobodno vrijeme koje mu ostane provodi uz dobar film ili knjigu.

Goran Jakovljević

Goran has been working with WordPress for 7 years. As a front end developer, he started using WordPress as a backend tool, fell in love and now uses it for all kind of projects. Currently he’s a Lead Backend Developer & Director of BL Office at AM2 Studio. In company, he works on all kind of WordPress projects, mostly ERPs, CRMs and custom e-commerce solutions. In his free time he publishes and maintains plugins on WordPress repository – 4 plugins with around 7000 sites actively using them. This year he started selling premium plugins, and so far, its going great.

Ante Šepić

Ante is a self-taught web developer currently working at Agency,Mai?. His favourite language is JavaScript, and he enjoys working with it both on the frontend and the backend. When no one is looking, he also writes PHP. WordPress sparked his interest a few years back when he started creating his own websites. Most of his early experience comes from selling themes and plugins on the Envato marketplaces. Nowadays, he is mostly focused on experimenting with different JavaScript frameworks and frontend build tools. When not working or playing with code, he is either sleeping or trying to quit gaming.

Nela Dunato

Nela Dunato is a brand and web designer with over a decade of professional experience. She’s worked in several web development agencies, and became a full-time freelancer in 2013. She’s teaching graphic design as a course instructor at Algebra Open University, and has also hosted workshops on content marketing. She helps small business owners from all over the worlds to launch and grow their business using the power of branding, content marketing and WordPress websites.

Antonio Peric-Mazar

Antonio Perić-Mažar is CEO at Locastic, an agency based in Split, Croatia. Its main focus is to build amazing mobile and web applications for their clients, which range from small startups to enterprise companies from all around the world. For the last 10+ years Antonio has dedicated his time to delivering high quality software solutions for his clients and in 2011 he founded Locastic. In a very short period of time the team grew up and they became very popular in the development world.

In 2012 Antonio co-founded SHIFT Conference, the biggest startup/business tech event in South-East Europe. SHIFT Conference hosted people like Tom Preston-Werner (Github), Steve HUffman (Reddit), Justin Kan (Twitch), Allan Grant (Hired), Des Traynor (Intercom), Tomaž Štolfa (Layer) and many others.

During the last few years Antonio also focused on sharing his business and development knowledge with Startups and other Entrepreneurs and he spoke on many conferences. In his free time he is also working on his PhD in Computer Science.

Austin Knight

Austin Knight is a Senior UX Designer, speaker, and author at HubSpot, focusing on web, mobile, SaaS, and VR/AR. As a digital nomad, he works remotely and lives amongst different design communities throughout the world. He mentors students and startup founders at Columbia University in New York, co-hosts the UX and Growth Podcast in Boston, leads a study on South American design in Rio de Janeiro, and speaks at select international events every year. Bernhard Kau

Bernhard is a PHP developer living in Berlin, Germany. He is a passionate WordPress user, plugin developer, and community member. He also organizes WordPress events, like WordPress Meetup and WordCamp in Berlin.

Ivan Brezak Brkan

Ivan is the founder and editor of Netokracija who started his tech-journalistic career writing for TechCrunch and various Crotian tech/business magazines, as well as speaking at conferences and meetups such as WordPress Meetup Zagreb.

Forbes has called him “The internet aristocrat” in its special “Generation 2013” issue. Ivan has also been a startup mentor and advisor at Hubraum, Seedcamp, Eleven, Shift Split, How to Web and others, as well as being the director of Netokracija’s own RockPaperStartups and OMGcommerce conferences. Ivan has been using WordPress for years, both at Netokracija and his other projects – and believes it to be an essential tool of today’s fastchanging media landscape.

Alexandra Draghici

Alexandra handles product development at CaptainForm, WordPress form builder launched in 2015 by 123ContactForm. Previously, she worked in project and product management at the same company and developed a deep interest in analyzing user behavior and building solutions based on her findings. The WordPress world is the closest to her heart and she is a frequent WordCamp speaker, volunteer or attendee.

Alexandra is also very fond of teaching and has founded the most popular platform for learning English in her home country, Romania. She asks “why” probably 100 times a day and she likes to do any type of puzzle, ride her bike and play tennis.​

Ivelina Dimova

WordPress developer working at CrowdFavorite where we create web solutions for big enterprise companies. I am more focused on back-end development and passionate about version control systems, deployment and server administration tools.

Personally some of my interests are yoga, travelling and photography, I am always excited to travel around the world to visit WordCamps, learn new things and spend time with the awesome people at the community.

Miroslav Mađarić

Born 1951, Zagreb, Croatia university degree and PhD in computer science 34 years of experience in health care informatics in Croatia and abroad, as well as 6 years in leading oil&gas industry in Croatia.

Anastasios Manoloudis

Anastasios is a designer + craftsman (at heart) and WordPress developer for several years now. Founded CrowdedTent in 2007 and shortly after got hooked into WordPress. First WordCamp to attend was WCEU 2014 @ Sofia, Bulgaria and since then his involvement with the community and the project ranges from volunteering to (co)organizing local events and participating in global ones. Based on the island of Crete (Hellas) and proud to be location independent.

Dario Jazbec Hrvatin

I am a documentation manager and usability consultant with OnTheGoSystems, creators of WPML and Toolset plugins. Before joining the company, I was a web-developer for years, including freelancing and working for agencies.

I’m a huge WordPress fan for years, using it for every single project since my very start.

In recent years I specialized in writing documentation and am also involved with usability testing. I believe that simplicity and ease-of-use, of both documentation and products, is of utmost importance for making a great product.

Maja Žikić

Tome Pajkovski

I’m Tome Pajkovski, and I am co-owner and Project Manager of Devvironment, a WordPress Agency based in Macedonia.

Me and my partner established the agency in the January of 2016, and we mostly work with US and UK based agencies and end-clients.

Before that, I was the CEO of Duna Albania, the Albanian branch of Duna Computers, one of the biggest IT companies in Macedonia. There, I had gained experience in working with Government, Financial and Telecom sector on the subject of Managed Printing solutions and also worked on building lasting relationship with potential and current clients.

While in university I founded SakamPopust, a discount voucher online service with couple of colleguees, which at the time, one of the most visited discount based sites in Macedonia.

Denis Žoljom

I’m a 29 year old web developer from Zagreb. My first passion was physics, which is why I studied and finished physics prior to realizing that web development is more fun. I’ve started as a WordPress theme developer in 2014 and since then I’ve grown to an all around experienced developer for WordPress (themes, plugins custom solutions etc.). In my spare time, I write WordPress tutorials on my website madebydenis.com. I also review themes on wordpress.org and learn about new and exciting stuff in frontend development.

Ivan Ružević

I’m 28 years old professional web developer with more than 10 years of design and development experience. Today I’m a Senior WordPress developer @Infinum. My specialty is Frontend development but I have been working with a large variety of technologies and languages.
I started as a designer back in 2007, but changed my focus on programing. Mainly I’m working with Frontend languages like JS, CSS/SASS, but I’m also highly comfortable with Backend technologies like PHP (Laravel, Symfony, Magento, WordPress). WordPress has been my focus from version 2.8 and I have been developing for it ever since.
