Two weeks after the conference and we are ready to take look at this event with a cold head. Judging by most people feedback, our dear attendees and media — we can say that we did a pretty good job of promoting WordPress and open–source in yet another successfull WordCamp in Croatia. But let’s get into a little more details.
Hello everyone. Another WordCamp in Croatia is behind us. We have sent out the attendee and speaker survey in order to get your feedback. If you didn’t get the e-mail and you attended the WordCamp, check your spam or junk folder.

WordCamp after–parties are something people remember as highlights of the event, because after a full day of great talks, learning stuff and talking to sponsors and eating tasty lunch — it’s a perfect time for informal networking. This year we are doing something a little bit differently. You won’t believe what. o.O

Osim dječjih radionica u petak koje smo pripremili za naše male posjetitelje, roditeljima koji još razmišljaju da li kupiti ulaznicu za WordCamp Zagreb jer im nema tko pričuvati djecu – nudimo savršeno rješenje. <3 U suradnji s našim dragim prijateljima iz udruge aRTiS INcludum pobrinuli smo se da vaše dijete tijekom cijelog dana bude aktivno i zabavljeno te da niti u jednom trenutku ne pomisli i kaže “Meni je dosadno”. Za djecu smo pripremili posebnu igraonicu gdje će uz interaktivne i zabavne radionice razvijati grafomotoričke sposobnosti kojima ćemo reći zbogom dosadi. Being the biggest WordCamp in Croatia so far, we have a lot of T-shirts to print. Yeah, a lot. As we have already sold more than 200 tickets (meaning this will be the *biggest* WordCamp in Croatia to date) this also means that our T-shirt printing deadline is coming closer. Everyone who buys their ticket before this Friday, August 25th, will get his or her T-shirt in the size they selected. Those who will purchase their ticket(s) after Friday will still get the T-shirt but (probably) in the bigger size that they would like to have. Kao i prijašnjih godina, i ove godine organiziramo besplatne radionice o WordPressu ali i drugim zanimljivim temama. Kako smo ove godine organizirali ukupno 12 radionica, gužva će biti veća nego ikad prije stoga je najbolje da s vašom prijavom za radionice ne čekate baš zadnji dan. Kao i prošlih godina, i ove su godine radionice otvorene za sve bez obzira dolazite li na glavni konferencijski dan u subotu, 1. rujna (a trebali bi!), međutim u slučaju povećanog interesa (što je i prijašnjih godina bio slučaj) prednost će imati oni s kupljenom kartom za WordCamp Zagreb. Wow. With the first hundred tickets gone, we decided to release the rest of the tickets to the public before we initially planned (August 1st). So, without further ado – today we are releasing the rest of the tickets for WordCamp Zagreb.

Current temperature in Zagreb is 31°C. It’s Friday. We know some of you are already going on a vacation — maybe you are even on your way to one of the 1000+ islands in Croatia. We have a quick announcement that will make your Friday even better. We are rolling out with the first batch of tickets for WordCamp Zagreb.
The ticket price is a bargain. You get a T-shirt, tasty lunch and plenty of coffee during conference day, after–party (you don’t want to miss that one), as well as an opportunity to register for our workshops and a Contributor Day as soon as we announce those. People who have purchased the conference ticket will have precedence.
We are also trying something new this year. Besides having a regular ticket that costs € 20, we are also adding a Small Business ticket for € 180 and Freelancer ticket for € 40. Whether you run a small business or you are freelancing who works with WordPress, you can purchase one of these special tickets and show your appreciation for our community.
It’s that time of the year when we announce the next host city to Croatia’s annual WordCamp. So, without further ado, we’d like to welcome you to our capital – Zagreb.
